wishing me Happy Birthday,
I say Thank You for remembering
This year, Dearie opted for a later flight
so that he's in town for my birthday
*muacks* thank you dear
He surprised me with a Konica Minolta camera
which he sneakily hid in my MNG handbag
and left for me to discover when he came pick me up
after lessons at NIE
I'm pampered!
We didn't do anything exceptionally special
though he had promised earlier to take me to the zoo to test out my new camera
but it didn't materialize in the endof my usual mood swings
and threw a tiny fit for having to eat at Boon Tong Kee
because it was obviously his craving ... not mine...
AND it's my birthday!!! Grrrrrr!!!
*pout*
after that, i thought we were going home
while driving along bukit timah
yet, he surprised me once again
by turning into The Botanical Gardens
His sensor was finally working!
I was of course secretly happy
'cos there's something really soothing about nature which calms me
oh and not forgetting the numerous doggies we saw
as well as the company of my loved one holding my hand
strolling along the pond
This birthday was slightly sweeter than the previous
because i received pressies and well-wishes from students
Socks smsed me on Fri saying that there's a big pressie on my table
(i have lessons at NIE on Fri)
'cos we slept like pigs till late morning.
Then i had one
When i went to school on Mon, and discovered the pressie on my table
I melted.
It was a piglet bolster soft toy, and it was big and cuddly
they must have splurged half of their pocket money?!??
*sob* *touched*
Another expelled student got me a Hello Kitty wallet
even though she couldn't attend school since beginning of Term 3
she got her friends to contact me just to give me the present
*melts again*
Oh... and of course, finally my "admirer" gave me a birthday card too
it's a fine line between *Yuketty Yuk* and *melt*
though it's kinda sweet, i guess
Socks gave me a bracelet made by her sis
and a sweet little pooh card, so lovely ain't it
it fits my hand just so perfectly
It feels wonderful knowing that your friends and family love you
thank you ZY for your phone call, even though i'm perpetually snubbing you
