Perth in Pictures I

"So how was Perth?", you ask.
"Errrrm nothing impressive.
Pretty much filled with shrubs,
bushes and dead kangaroos."
"Shops close at 5pm,
by the time i wake,
half of the day is gone."

Don't ask me, i did not do Perth justice.
Ask the pictures. They'll do better.

Here they are.
(Don't worry no dead kangoos, though there are some dead things)

Day One: An evening walk in D's Campus UWA

D's school has an "Old English Romantic" feel.
Here, inscribed upon a brick wall,
a "Loved-by-all-the-bimbos-of-the-world" quote:

Verily by Beauty it is that we come at Wisdom.

Ok, so it probably means that by admiring the
beauty of God's creation and nature, it is that
we come to an understanding of His wisdom.

Check out the peacocks chilling at the Arts Fac
I'd probably freak out big time if i saw one on my campus.

Look even the dogs are enjoying the walk.
Cos' the weather is so cool and fresh.
The doggy on the right is Tin Tin's dog breed.

So am i. *happy*.
Stopping for a breather.... to take this dreamy picture.
(the lens were fogged up)

"The awful shadow of some unseen power
Floats though unseen amongst us; visiting
This various world with as inconstant wing
As summer winds that creep from flower to flower..."

Later, off to Kings Park to watch the sunset
and a view from the top.

And some of my favorite pictures.
Taken amidst Lovely Lavenders and against the Setting Sun.

Dinner that night was some authentic kebab and pide take-away,
coupled with some white wine in D's tiny rat-hole of a hostel room.

Oh remember the flowers D surprised me with?
Pretty pink lilies.
And it was good seeing my carebear beanies again.

Day Two: Morning at Fisherman's Wharf, Fremantle

Where we had yummy fish and chips.
I was coaxed into taking some more pics.
*bleh* i hate being touristy.

Day two was nothing much, as we prepared for our trip
up to Monkey Mia the next day.
More pics to come...
