Dearest Lil received her posting today
and i can't contain this funny feeling inside me,
though it really doesn't concern me
but i want to burst out in big guffaws
Muahahahahahahahhaahhahahahahaha
*evil*
There are so many schools in this country
Why why why are you so "lucky" to be posted back to our alma mater?
Heeheeheeheeeheee....
The first thing that came to my mind when i saw your sms was "the terror"
*cannot mention names ... must be careful after the recent blog flaming incidents ah... despite this being a private address... hahah ... never know who's reading this man...
Ok ... anyway the reason for my evil outburst is because i suddenly recalled what one of my tutorial mates said to me.
You see, he was posted to our alma mater for contract, teaching economics
and this is what he said to me about the infamous terror,
"(name of teacher) nullifies all the theories we have learnt in school about educational psychology and classroom management."
I cannot imagine if i were in your shoes, i will DIE!
Because i remember my bad brush with her.
Looking back, i think i was possessed then to have even defied and challenged her openly.
It was the first week of school and i "chao-ed" (skipped) her lesson
I think i was damn lucky to have survived a mere verbal abuse of "You stupid little girl!",
considering worse statements she has employed on various people.
Also, rightly i think it was damn stupid of me to have even tried arguing my way through.
haha...
But don't worry, you had no bad brush with her, you'll survive, Lil' wandflower.
I remember we used to sit at the edge of our chairs for her every lesson.
and each time she hollers at us for being plain nitwits, my heart feels like jumping out of its throat
and the times she caught us plagiarising off those sparks notes (she tore one of my classmate's "research" into pieces and dumped it into the dustbin)
and she confiscated Esther's pager (hahah... then we had pagers) when it beeped in class...
oh .. and the other time i wore sandals back to school for her remedial because i was lazy to wear shoes, (why was i so stupid then? *Conk my head*)
Esther and i had to come up with a wonderful ploy to disguise my "injured" toe.
so we coloured this piece of plaster with red ink and attached it to my toe,
just so that i will not incur her wrath!
And the way she read Faustus and taught Shelley's Hymn to Intellectual Beauty,
how she called us metaphoric sponges
and that perpetual smirk on her face that seems to suggest that we are dim wits
But i must say i like her.
Cos she was the one who taught me independent learning
in fact, hers was the only text i read in it's entirety.
Those were the days of living terror whenever we had lit lessons.
and those were the reasons why i couldn't help feeling funny.
Because i was thinking the education system could potentially turn out to be a viscious cycle.
Anyhow... I say it again... you'll survive and you'll be like our Great Expectations teacher "You know who" ... she's so pretty and wane. I'm sure the students will like you!
