Cutie Bunnie

There is a bunny down at holland v.
a little ball of white fur;
pair of tiny grey ears;
wet twitchy brown nose
pressed against the pane.
"it's down with flu"
said the pet shop owner.
yet, it seemed the liveliest of them all
as it raised its paw to say hello

dear little bunny
i would have bought you
if i lived in a big house with a big garden
i would cuddle you to sleep every night
and named you Fluffie

Little Fluffie, i wonder if you're well?
if your flu just got better?
I wonder if someone bought you
and gave you a nice little home?
