Ramblings

the mid-year's are finally over.
done with marking the scripts,
and feeling totally demoralised
counting down to 18th of June
my official last day at "gao lak" school
the long and winding road ahead
seems hazy and uncertain
but i am determined to be a good teacher
*i promise*

posed with a dilemma
now, if given a choice
should i teach in a neighbourhood school
or a "branded" school?
sigh...
on the surface, it doesn't seem too difficult a choice to make
but i'd really miss having kids who appreciate the simple things in life
or could it be that i feel inadequate to teach students of higher calibre?
i really can't decide
hopefully when the time comes
a decision would have been made
